A full guide on how to prepare for your treatment, and the care following your treatment.
What Is Purging?
Often times, after a skincare treatment or using a new product, you may notice your skin starting to break out. This is known as purging, and it is normal. In fact, it is even a good thing. Purging is caused by deep cleansing and active ingredients that penetrate far below the skin's surface causing the underlying impurities to rise to the surface. This means that it is working. If you notice your skin beginning to purge, don't fret! Purging is temporary and typically heals quicker than a regular breakout.
